Have you ever had days when you got enough sleep but you are still feeling so tired just as your day begins? There are many reasons that explain why you might always be feeling tired. Lack of sleep is not the only cause why the mind and the body easily get exhausted. In this article you will discover some of the most probable reasons why you easily feel tired.
Not Drinking Enough Water
Water is very important for our system to properly function. If your body does not get enough amount of water it needs, it tends to deteriorate in terms of performance and strength. Studies proved that even slight dehydration decreases energy levels. When your body doesn’t have enough water it needs, blood volume is reduced then making the blood thicker. When the blood is thicker, your heart inefficiently pumps thus slowing down the oxygen and nutrients to flow to the body organs and muscles. This causes loss of energy that causes tiredness. Make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day to avoid irregular tiredness.
The body needs nutrients which can be derived from the foods we eat. If we do not eat, the body lacks the fuel for the heart and the other organs to function accordingly. When you sleep, your body consumes the latest food intake which is during dinner. Starting your day without eating, the body doesn’t have any source of nutrients that is why you will feel sluggishness. It is vital to refuel your body through having breakfast before starting your day. It greatly affects your efficiency and performance needed in whatever you must accomplish either at work or at school.
Indulging yourself in too much sweets and junkies
If you live on too much junk food, sweets, and sweetened beverages the tendency is for your blood sugar to spike. When your body get used to high blood sugar level and suddenly it drops, you will most likely to encounter fatigue. Make sure that your body’s blood sugar level is stable through regular lean protein and whole grain intake.
Trying to do Everything
If you are trying to do everything that is not really necessary, you tend to work longer and harder than you really should. If you are trying to be perfect, then you are just causing yourself too much stress. Save yourself some trouble and accomplish those that are expected from you and not what everything you expect from a perfectionist.
